Lifting the first-time manager — without waiting for a leadership program

First-time managers need hands-on help in the first 90 days. Here's the short version of what we do, and what you can start with yourself.

The first-time manager is the most exposed link in a growth company. The person is promoted for technical results and is now expected to lead people, prioritise on behalf of the business and navigate conflict — without having done it before.

Our experience is that leadership training alone doesn't solve it. What works is a combination: a sparring partner for the first 90 days, a clear understanding of the role, and concrete tools for the hard conversations.

If you want to start tomorrow: hold a weekly 1:1 with your new leader where you talk about people — not tasks. It's the simplest investment with the highest return.

Next step

Let's talk about your next growth phase.

A no-strings 30-minute sparring session. I listen, ask about the business and tell you honestly whether I'm the right match.
